Abstract(in English) This paper reports that the characteristics of timing jitter of an optical transmission system using OPC and DSCF's. In the system the pulse distortion due to higher order dispersion can be compensated by using DSCF's effectively. However, the timing jitter caused by the amplifier spontaneous emission(ASE) noise emitted from EDFA's limits the transmission distance. In this paper, the possibility of the transmission length of optical transmission systems using OPC and DSCF's concerning the limit of timing jitter is shown. .
