Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) transmission systems, it is a ploblem that the transmission characteristics are degraded due to the fiber nonlinear effects. These nonlinear effects are caused by the pulse collision due to the group velocity differences. In this paper, we proposed a WDM transmission system with the dispersion slope management by which the nonlinear effects can be suppressed, the dispersion and the third-order dispersion effects can be compensated, too.
