Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a detection of subpixel displacement for images using phase-only correlation. Subpixel displacement in the image is caused by sampling from analog to digital. Two different ways, a sinc approximation method and a phase-only image magnification method, to detect the subpixel displacement are investigated. A sinc approximation method is to approximate a phase-only correlation by a sinc function. A phase-only image magnification method is a method which includes an ideal image magnification in the frequency domain. Experimental results show that these two methods are useful for detection of subpixel displacement.
