Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is natural that the vowel production system is a time-varying circuit when the system is observed in one pitch duration. If the produced waveform of vowel is regarded as a stationary signal which has the almost same waveform is repeated in several pitches, it is difficult to observe the variation of characteristics in one pitch. It is a very difficult problem to treat the time-varying model in one pitch by using the distributed circuit because of including initial values of the state variable. We show the necessity to propose the equivalent circuit of the vowel production system as a time-varying system; especially for underlying variation of glottal impedance model. Using a natural expansion of the lattice filter model, we propose a method to represent propagating states in the system, and show the effectiveness of our method to compute the simultaneous spectrum as the response of time-varying the vocal tract system.
