Multibeam Interference Cancellation based on Multibeam Order Extended Fast Algorithm

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel multibeam interference canceller which can achieve high transmission performance in multiuser environments over mobile communication channels. In addition to this, multibeam order extended fast algorithm for the multibeam interference canceller is proposed that can be implemented with less computational complexity than RLS(Recursive Least Squares) algorithm. In spite of the little computational complexity, the proposed algorithm attains rapid initial acquisition same to RLS algorithm. Although the multibeam interference canceller has several kind of tap vectors which define the directivity patterns of the multibeam, the multibeam interference canceller based on the multibeam order extended fast algorithm can estimate these tap vectors through only one Kalman gain vectors update. This is why the multibeam interference canceller based on the multibeam order extended fast algorithm can be implemented with little computational complexity. The the multibeam interference canceller based on the multibeam order extended fast algorithm achieves the rapid convergence same to theoretical upper bound and has superior performance by 6dB to the conventional decision feedback adaptive array.
