Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many types of MMSE adaptive algorithms for co-channel interference suppression in DS/CDMA systems have been studied and analyzed in great detail. However, these algorithms have such a problem that the convergence speed is greatly dropped under the strong near-far problem. In this paper, we propose a new training-type adaptive filter named MINE. The de-spreading vector generated from the adaptive filter is so renewed as to be orthogonalized to the interference and noise vector component estimated from the received signal. The convergence speed of this algorithm is much faster than the conventional ones.
