Abstract(in English) | We modify the Wiener filter and derive an improved method for noise reduction. Basically, the Wiener filter is designed by the power spectrum of noise and the power spectrum of speech. However, it is difficult to obtain the power spectrum of speech from noisy speech. To conquer such a problem, we use the improved LPC which strengthens LPC against the noise and secures a stability. In this paper, the speech power spectrum estimated by improved LPC is used for designing the Wiener filter. By experimental results, we confirm that the proposed method is effective. |
