Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recentry, the STRAIGHT-a high quality analysis and synthesis procedure was proposed. In this paper, we described perfrmance of continuous speech recognition using features analized by STRAIGHT. We conducted comparative experiments with FFT-based and STRAIGHT-based cepstrum coefficients. We got significantly better result on STRAIGHT-based cepstrum than that on FFT-based cepstrum. And we also evaluated acoustic models integrated with pitch information. In this case we did not get significantly good result. We need to study further how to use pitch information.
