Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Synthetic aperture rader(SAR) images are affected by speckle noise, and numerous methods have been proposed for the noise reduction. The statistical nature of speckle noise is well known in optics, but these characteristics are not true on some scenes, such as urban areas in the image. In this paper, we propose the a Kalman filter adapted to the regions which are classified according to the local coefficient of variation which measures the image homogeneity in the SAR images.
