Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new technique for embedding and extracting digital watermarks. Our technique focuses on embedding technique using the average value of DCT coefficients. Since the proposed method does not require the original image for extracting watermark data, it can be potentially employed as a convenient watermarking technique. This paper shows some preliminary experimental results that investigated the robustness of the proposed method by the benchmark program StirMark.
