Performance Improvement of Oversampling A-D Convertor Based on Continuous-Time Loop Filter

Abstract(in English) Oversampling A-D convertors which based on discrete-time loop filters have a limited operation speed. Recently, A-D convertors which based on continuous-time loop filters are widely being used, because of the high operation speed of continuous-time loop filter. However, loop filters consist of the continuous-time circuits have some problems, such as the order of noise-shaping charastrictic is badly reduced and the noise floor is also not sharply attenuated at signal band. In this paper, we try to find out the above problems which affect the performance of A-D convertors based on coutinuous-time loop filters. We discuss the influence of the injected noise from the feed back loop, and present the approach on how to overcome these influences.
