Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A complex random signal having an isotropic 2D probability distribution serves as a model of radio wave noise or a narrowband signal. The blind separation of the mixtures of such independent complex is foemulated in analogy with that of real signals by introducing complex Hermite moments defind by means of the complex Hermite polynomials and by maximizing a cost function in terms of the Euclidean norm with respect to unitary matrix transformations. The cost functions of two differenct orders are introduced for comparison and the separation of 2D complex signals based on 2D unitary matrices SU (2) is treated. The blind separation of two narrowband speeches with time shifted mixing is audibly demonstrated.
