Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Usually the linear equalizer could not achieve high equalization perfoemance when the channel has nonlinearities which cannot be ignored, hence a nonlinear equalizer is required in practical applications. In this paper by introducing the support vector machine (SVM), an approximated optimal equalizer design methood is presented to compensate the distortion caused by the channel nonlinearity. One of the advantages of the proposed design method can avoid the problem of trap in local solution. Moreover, the equalizer desing method based on the local model is also proposed to improve the hyperplane separating ability. A numerical simulation is performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
