Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This report presents new image segmentation method. The method is based on a self-organized clustering mechanism. In this mechanism, a gray scale value and a location of each pixel are analyzerd. Using the self-organized clustering, some cluster nodes are evalutad. These are recognyzed as segmented reguons. if only a give image is analyzed, come errors happens because of various disturbance and noise. In order to improve the segmentation accuracy, this method applys several low resolution images which are yielded from the original image by using multi-resolution analysis. |
