A Study of Clock Recovery Method for MPEG-2 System Clock

Abstract(in English) In MPEG-2 Systems standard (ISO/IEC 13818-1), information of clock is transmitted to recover clock accurately at a receiver. The clock recovery method that is described in MPEG-2 System standard, results in some deference between received clock values and recovered clock values. And in order to reduce the influence of network jitter, this method delays clock synchronization. We propose a new clock recovery method to improve above problems. This method separates a function of clock synchronization from a function of jitter reduction to maximize each function. And recovered clock values are same to received clock values.
