Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an intelligent radio resource management technique for multi-layered cellular systems using a shared band with a LEO satellite system. In the proposed system, the radio spectrum for microcell and macrocell systems are adaptively and autonomously shared according to the traffic conditions. Moreover, radio resources for a satellite system are also dynamically shared exploiting temporarily unused satellite band. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed system can achieve high system capacity reusing radio resources for the satellite system.
