Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is often desired to change the crossover frequecies of analysis filter banks through variable single parameters. This paper describes a design of linear phase FIR analysis filter banks of which the crossover frequencies can be controlled by single parameters. The proposed design is realized on the basis of the frequency transformations for realizing variable cutoff linear phase FIR filters. The crossover-controlling parameters is derived from the frequency transformation applied to each filter of filter banks. These parameters make us possible to tune crossover frequencies easily and obtain desired band-splitting characteristics. Some demonstrations to show the tunability of the proposed filter banks is given by computer simulations.
