Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we will consider the extended optimum discrete interpolatory approximation of one-dimensional signals for FIR Filter-Banks. Firstly, we will present, under some assumptions, analytic interpolation functions φm (t) minimizing various measures of approximation error defined at discrete time samples n=0, ±1, ±2, .... Although φm (t) has the infinite supports, φm (n) vanishes outside of the finite interval for n. Further, we will present a sufficient condition for the analysis filters and W (ω) under which the set of the discrete approximation error, if interpolated by sinc, is included in the set of band-limited signals defined by W (ω).
