Notch Fourier Transform for Unevenly Sampled Data Based on Virtual Second-Order Notch Filter

Abstract(in English) It is useful to analyze unevenly sampled data. In this paper, we consider a Fourier transform algorithm for unevenly sampled data. First, we explain the notch Fourier transform(NFT) that is the Fourier transform for evenly sampled data. Next, we present a modified NFT(M-NFT) algorithm based on a virtual second-order notch filter(V-2VNF) to apply the NFT to unevenly sampled data. We also present a frequency estimation algorithm for unevenly sampled data, since we must know the signal frequencies in advance to apply the M-NFT to the signal composed of unknown frequencies. Last, we show some simple applications of the M-NFT.
