Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Well known method to improve the performance of spread unslotted ALOHA systems is the control of packet transmission. Spread unslotted ALOHA systems employing such method, however, neglect the consideration of packet retransmission. In this paper, we propose an optimal access control protocol (OACP), which is the protocol controlling both the packet, transmission and the packet retransmission. It is shown that the throughput performance of the systems with the OACP is better than the systems without OACP and the OACP prevents the systems from drifting to undesirable operating point.
