Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In spread spectrum communication system under colored noise environments, an unique demodulation technique called SMD (Shaped M-sequence Demodulation) has been reported, which improves the demodulated SNR far beyond the process gain by using the optimized despreading code waveform. This paper proposes a multiframe length demodulation technique which achieves more SNR improvements by taking the despreading code optimization over the multiframe length. Specifically for a two frame length demodulation scheme a system configuration, SNR analysis and the optimum despreading code design method are described. Examples of the optimum despreading code and SNR characteristics for some sinusoidal and band expanded noise models are also shown, which confirm the usefulness of the technique.
