Inconsistent estimates of local moment functions and related problems

Abstract(in English) In the paper the problem of crossterms in time-frequency representation of nonstationary signals is addressed. A relation between consistent and inconsistent estimates of the local correlation of a nonstationary signal is shown. Analysis of crossterm positions in higher order ambiguity domain is provided. The cross-frequency-ambiguity domain is introduced to enable elimination of crossterms between signal components in reduced Wigner distribution of the 3rd order. Numerical examples to illustrate the theory are given.
