Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a steady-state analysis of the cascade IIR notch filter which is useful for detection of mulitple sinusoids with additive white Gaussian noise. Assuming that the frequency separation between the sinusoids is large relative to the bandwidth of each notch filter, it is shown that the estimate error of variable coefficient of each section can be studied by using first-order ordinary difference equations with stochastic input. It is found that the steady-state coefficient fluctuation consists of two or more sinusoidal components plus the additive stationary random signal. Formulas for the amplitudes and frquencies of these sinusoidal components are derived. Power spectral density of the additive random signal has been also analyzed. The results of computer simulations are presented to substantiate the analysis.
