Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The perfect reconstruction (PR) filter banks have now a great importance in multirate signal processing. Many attempts have been made to generalize from the results of one-dimensional system. In this paper, the multi-dimensional systems are studied from stochastic point of view. At first the multi-dimensional cyclostationary process is introduced to analyze filter banks since the output of a filter bank for a stationary input is cyclostationary. Then the spectral correlation density of this output is presented. Using these results we propose a criterion to construct an optimal multi-dimensional PR filter banks which minimizes the averaged mean squared reconstruction error when some subband signals are dropped. |
