Abstract(in English) | In this paper we discuss on superimposed codes of high order and the decoding algorithm. We have presented an excellent decoding algorithm,"Algorithm I" for superimposed codes[1]. Using our algorithm, higher coding rates can be realized with a simple decoding circuit[2]. In this paper, we show that superimposed codes of order 2 with the hard decision decoding algorithm yield higher rates, compared with the conventional BCH codes under the conditions that the code length and the decoding error rates are the same. Finally the results of analyses for other efficient codes (BCH code, repetitive BCH codes, conventional superimposed codes) are given. |
