Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Diversity reception is common for land mobile radio systems to reduce the bit error rate (BER) degradation due to fading. In time division duplex (TDD) systems, transmittion diversity, in which the highest signal level branch/antenna at the previous reception period is selected to transmit, can be applied for basestations with diversity reception because the transfer characteristics correlation is high between uplink and downlink. Therefor, mobile stations don't have to have diversity receivers. Nevertheless, transmittion diversity can not be applied for control channel in which broadcasting and/or paging information are transfered since the basestaion must transmit it without receiving signals from mobile stations. It makes a problem that "callable area" is smaller than "talkable area". In this report, a new control channel transmission procedure to extend the "callable area" is proposed and evaluated with computer simulations.
