Speech Enhancement by Quadrature Comb-filtering

Abstract(in English) In this paper, quadrature multi-channel filtering technique is introduced to adaptive comb-filtering for enhancing speech. Enhancement is performed scaling each channel output of the quadrature filter and reconstructing the speech signal from scaled outputs. For the case of Gaussian white noise, signal to noise ratio is improved 6.5dB. For the case of railway station noise, signal to noise ratio is imploved over 5dB.
