Abstract(in English) | The international standards of Airborne Collidion Avoidance System was approved in ICAO, and the installation of ACAS was obliged in Japan. Since this system uses the currently available technology to prevent the near mid-air collision, it has many items to be improved. To obtain the quantitative measures of current system performance, performance type standards are discussed. Aircraft encounter model is one of major part of the standards. This paper discusses the model of aircraft vertical profiles using Factor Analysis method as one of the candidates. It also discusses the mathematical model of profiles. |
