Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the results of real-time speech recognition with a Robust Adaptive Microphone Array with an Adaptive Blocking Matrix (RAMA-ABM). Through comparisons with various microphones, speech recognition rates for a variety of sound capture systems under different environments are clarified. The results show that the RAMA-ABM can improve the recognition rate by up to 60% and achieves about 80% recognition rate for an SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) over 0dB. Even when the talker is off the assumed target direction, RAMA-ABM can suppress the noise by more than 8dB without taget-signal cancellation.
