Electronic states in a vertically coupled dot array

Abstract(in English) We investigated electronic states in a vertically coupled double dot array by far-infrared magneto-optical absorption measurements. In the far-infrared absorption measurements, peak shifts of the electron transition only in a dot located near the top interface were observed under photoexcitation. The coupling of the dots is changed by photoexcitation of band-gap light. The changes in the coupling affect the electronic states in the dot system. From the systematic study of the peak shift, the influence of the coupling between the dots on the electronic states is discussed.
