Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A pulsed microwave breakdown spectroscopy(MBS) has been developed as a way of remote-sensing and detection of air pollutants. A frequency and power of microwave is 9.4GHz and 100kW respectively. The gas pressure in chamber is set in the range of 1 Torr to 100 Torr for pure N_2, pure O_2, N_2/O_2 and Freon in N_2 as model gases for detection of air pollutants. For N2/O2 system, the 1^ and the 2^ Positive Band of N2, atomic spectra of N and O were observed. For CFC-12 case, typical spectrum of Cl I(837.6nm)was measured from Freon/N_2 mixtures, which was completely separated from other N_2, O_2 spectra.
