Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The paper describes TEM mode peniotron operating in a parallel plate transmission circuit with double pairs of ridges, which satisfies the auto-resonant interaction for the cyclotron fastwave devices. The simulation results of the peniotron show relatively high efficiency of 56% for the 2nd cyclotron harmonic operation at 20 GHz. In addition the paper discusses that the backward wave in the interaction resonator affects considerably the auto-resonant interaction of peniotron.
