Abstract(in English) | 3-dimensional electromagnetic analysis code MAFIA is used to compute the phase velocity as well as the interaction impedance of a TWT amplifier of the ring loop type. It is shown that both mentioned quantity can be computed within short time and with good accuracy. Optimization of the circuit parameters is possible by combining MAFIA code with a large signal simulation program. |
