| Abstract(in English) | In recent years, electromagnetic/circuit simulators become essential in a research, development, and education fields of microwave engineering, and various highly expensive commercial software products are widely used. The commercial simulators, however, have some faults, e.g. the substance of their algorithm and program is in a black box, the calculation accuracy is not assured, and the application range is indistinct. Hence, the younger engineers tend to use them to excess without good physical and mathematical understanding. From a practical and educational viewpoints this paper treats the discontinuity problems of several two-dimensional transmission structures, and so for the purpose of contribution to development of analytica1 software with the cooperation of university laboratories, the two-dimensional discontinuities in rectangular waveguide and stripline/microstrip-line circuits are explicitly defined and systematically arranged. Moreover, fandamental matters necessary for standardizing and sharing the software, various analytical techniques and their relations, and the developing procedures are described. |
