Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A super buffer circuit composed of a cascaded CMOS source- follower and inverter configuration has shown a faster drivability of large capacitance loads than tapered inverter chains due to the combined Anti-Miller and Bootstrapping Effects,a characteristic feature of a CMOS source follower. When driving 6000 times larger capacitance by an elemental inverter,two-stage combined source- follower, inverter buffers is 10% faster than the fastest tapered inverter-chain buffer of seven stages.
