Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) One of the remarkable properties of amorphous multilayers is that these films could be prepared by using physically very different properties.Anomalous reflectance peaks or dips are observed on reflectance spectra of random amorphous multilayers This anomaly is explained by a model using the Anderson localization of the classical light propagation. Finally several possible applications of amorphous random multilayers are discussed.
