| 抄録(和) | 新しい電子デバイスの動作原理として重要性を増しつつある共鳴トンネリング現象について,基礎的,理論的な考察を行なった.共鳴の成否が,対象とするポテンシャル区間の内部特性と,外部のパラメータとの整合状況によって決定されることに着目して,共鳴バンドの概念を提案した.共鳴バンドとは,外部パラメータを適切に設定することによって共鳴をひき起こし得るエネルギー帯であり,多くの面で超格子構造におけるサブバンドに類似あるいは双対な性質を持つことを示した.それに関連して,共鳴対,極大・極小併合点,和・積判別関数の概念が必要かつ有効なことを述ベ,それらの性質などを明らかにした.また,対象区間に対して単純反復,影像反復,区間拡大の各基本操作を行なったとき,両バンドにどのような影響を与えるかについて検討し,その結果に基づいて任意の共鳴対から他の任意の共鳴対へ変換する方法を示した. |
| 抄録(英) | A theoretical study has been carried out on resonant tunneling phenomena. The concept of resonance bands of a structure is proposed to designate energy levels where it is possible to give rise to a resonance in the structure by suitably determining external parameters. Resonance bands are shown to have similar properties as the sub-bands of superlattices. Its importance seems likely equal to the sub-bands.Concepts of resonating pair,merging points,and discriminates have also been introduced and discussed. Further,we have investigated the influence of such operations as simple iteration,image iteration,and dilation on the bands. As an application, a metrhod has been obtained to transform the values of the resonating pair of a structure into arbitrary values. |
