Abstract(in English) A theoretical analysis of a GaAs Schottky diode mixer operating in the submillimeter wave region has been corned out.To analyse the mixer,the operation of carrier cube antenna has been examined using a 250 time scale model.The analysis of the mixer has given optimum values for parameters of the diode structure such as diode diameter,epitaxial layer thickness,and doping density.The Platinuim electro-plating and annealing of the Pt, GaAs contact used in the diode fabrication process have been improved in order to fabricate the optimised diode.
