Abstract(in English) An AGC Amplifier for CDMA cellular phone systems has been developed. In order to employ a new attenuator circuit, the AGC amplifier indicates high liner AGC characteristics (within 3dB/V) between 80dB AGC control range and accurate power control of the CDMA cellular phone was realized. It is assembled on an 8-pin SOP plastic package and it operates only positive voltage supply. Channel confinement of GaAs MESFETs have been improved for the AGC amplifier and low current operation of 5mA was achived.
