Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Functioning mechanisms of high-T_c bulk superconducting lenses(Supertrons) were fairly revealed. When one injects electron beams into a lens, the azimuthal self-magnetic fields of the electron begins diffuse through the wall of the lens with a slow velocity of the order of 10^4 m/s. Therefore, the reaction of the diffusion process compresses the beams temporarily. The dimensions of the lenses used since our first experiments were found to be optimized by comparing focal lengths of an axial-length-variable lens with the single electron trajectories simulated under the condition of space-charge neutralization. The simulation method seems to be useful for obtaining the first-order-approximated dynamics of electrons interacting with super conducing walls.
