| Abstract(in English) | An activity called The Photonics Forum will be introduced to encourage more people to join. This Forum was organized just a year ago, with the aim to give opportunities for informal but fruitful discussions among researchers belonging to universities, national and municipal research affiliations, and various kinds of industries related to and/or interested in the forthcoming photonics era. During the last one year four discussion meetings with a laboratory visiting tour were held. At the beginning of this fiscal year, The Forum includes 21 companies and 47 individual researchers. |
