Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Sb adsorption processes on the In-induced surface phases were studied in the temperature range of 200 to 400℃. The formation of Si-InSb surface structures with (2×2) and (√<7>×√<7>)periodicity were found in Sb/In(4×1)and Sb/In(√<3>×√<3>) systems, respectively. No order InSb reconstructions were observed during Sb deposition on the In (√<31>×√<31>) surface. AES analyses have confirmed that(2×2) and (√<7>×√<7>) structures consist of both In and Sb atoms and have double- ans single-layer arrangements of InSb(2×2) and InSb(√<7>×√<7>) phases, respectively. The final stage of Sb adsorption (1 ML) is the same in all the systems, namely the formation of Sb(2×1) and Sb(√<3>×√<3>) surface phases according with the complete agglomeration of In atoms.
