Abstract(in English) we have numerically analyzed all-optical demultiplexing characteristics based on four-wave mixing (FWM) in semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) by the finite difference beam propagation method. We have obtained an optimum input pump pulsewidth of 1 ~ 3 ps for 1 ps, 250 Gbit/s input probe pulses. We have also analyzed optical phase-conjugate characteristics of FWM signal pulses generated in SOAs. It has been clarified that excellent phase-conjugate characteristics are obtained for a ~ 2.2 ps chirped probe pulse by using a pump pulse with a pulsewidth of> 3 ps.
