Abstract(in English) An efficient coupling device between a laser diode integrated with a microlens and an optical fiber is described.The microlens converts the diverging beam emitted from the laser diode into a collimated beam and couples it to the optical fiber.It is calculated that the high single-mode-fiber-coupling efficiency of 81% is obtained for the microlens with RMSA of 0.4λ,and that the l arge alignment tolerance of 124μm is obtained in the z direction.I t is experimentally demonstrated that the coupling efficiency is 26% for single mode fiber coupling.
