Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A shear horizontal surface acoustic wave (SH-SAW) sensors have many attractions for chemical. sensing applications in liquid phases. The SH-SAW device that fabricated on 36° rotated Y-cut X-propagating LiTaO_3 is affected by a strong acoustoelectric interaction between the piezoelectric potential and electrical properties of a adjacent liquid. This paper describes a high-sensitive method for an urease-immobilized SH-SAW sensor. Also, we have discussed and examined the factors, such as exciting frequency and the condition of buffer solutions, that influence the sensitivities of the sensor.
