Modified Weibull Distribution and its Characteristics

Abstract(in English) The Weibull probability paper is often used in the case of failure data analysis, and it happens difficult to fit a straight line to the data plotted on the Weibull paper. In this case, in order to eliminate the difficult, in general the location parameter is introduced. In this paper, we introduce a modified Weibull model, which is evaluated by the AIC, and then investigate characteristics of a new model. Finally we show the usefulness of our model by illustrating the results obtained basing on our new model.
