Measurement of Magnetic Fields near a PCB and its Application to EMC Problems

Abstract(in English) This paper describes two types of magnetic field measurement methods and their application to analyze the sources of emissions radiated from printed circuit boards(PCBs). One of the methods is the time domain magnetic field measurement. The other is the estimation of the current flowing on a PCB from the measured nearby magnetic field distribution. The radiation mechanism of a four-layer PCB is analyzed with these methods.
