Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Because of the increasing of LSI circuit scale, intellectual property(IP) design to reuse the property effectively, becames important. In this report, we use a parameterization on VHDL for the reuse of the design property. A designed architecture is based on the proposed LSI description in which a structure selection is possible. It is relized by using FPGA. The FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) is a kind of programmable devices. It has several types and is re-writable many times. In the case of small number of production for a special purpose DSP, the cost can be reduced by using FPGA. This report proposes a hardware architecture to realize the PCA(Principal Component Analysis) using FPGA. We show the method to realize the designed filter and the experimental results for the realized hardware.
