Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Filter banks are used in many applications of digital signal processing. Among them, cosine modulated filer banks(CMFE's)are attractive by their real-valued coefficients and low structural complexity. However, few designs of linear phase CMFB's, which are required in waveform transmission systems, are proposed. Moreover, the conventional designs of oversampled CMFB's with linear phase characteristics seem to be insufficient because of their band-splitting characteristics and their structural complexity, although oversampled CMFB's are attractive by their design flexibility. This paper proposes a design method for perfect reconstruction oversampled CMFB's with linear phase characteristics. The proposed design has more band-splitting patterns than conventional ones. Since the derived structures consist of lower-rate filters, their complexity is lower than conventional ones.
