Intermittent chaos in the thyristor : 1-D mapping model for period- adding-chaotic-sequence with intermittency

Abstract(in English) We have observed chaos in the anode current of the silicon thyristor when the ac source voltage was supplied to the anode.At least three types of bifurcation were observed with various combinations of control parameters.Typically,intermittenct chaos appeared in the neighbour of the period-adding-chaotic sequence.In this report,we mainly investigate the route to period-adding sequence with intermittency by using a simple 1-dimensional mapping model.
